How To Enable Sli Windows 10

Hi Chris,

Cheers for existence part of Microsoft Community.

Perform the steps mentioned below to enable SLI in NVIDIA Control console.

a: Correct-click anywhere on your desktop and select NVIDIA Command Panel from the dropdown listing or click the NVIDIA icon in the Systray .

b: Once you've opened the NVIDIA Command Panel, click the Fix SLI configuration link under the 3D settings menu.

c: Finally, select either Practice not use SLI technology or Enable SLI technology (recommended) to toggle SLI on or off.

Thanks for getting back to me.  I don't retrieve yous read the entire message higher up.

I did as you suggested and selected "enable SLI engineering science".  When I clicked "Utilise" a window appeared proverb "Shut these programs and Click Continue:"

The programs listed are "SearchUI.exe" and ShellExperienceHost.exe"

I went to the Task Manager and tried to shut them but before I can click on the 2nd program to terminate task the first has restarted.  I shut Cortana off hoping it would turn off the SearchUI.exe just to no avail it'southward still running.  The window doesn't give me the option of continuing until I tin can shut those programs down.  Because of this I tin can not enable my SLI technology.

How tin I shut down these programs so I tin enable SLI or how can I skip needing to shut down the programs to enable SLI?

Thank you for the update.

We would ask you to go to the prophylactic way and then endeavor the steps given by Jessen P in the previous post and check if it works.

Safe manner is useful for troubleshooting bug with programs and drivers that might non outset correctly or that might prevent Windows from starting correctly. Condom mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. To starting time your system in prophylactic mode follow the below steps:

1. Printing and agree Shift key and restart your Computer.

2. Select Troubleshoot.

3. Select Advance Option.

4. Select Startup settings.

5. Follow the on Screen instruction.

Also, please also give us a screenshot of the task managing director in the normal mode then that we tin understand your effect better.

Hi there,

Sorry for the delay.  Piece of work sucks.  :-)

When I went into the safe fashion as described above I am unable to open Nvidia Control Panel.  I will try other settings in the Safe screen mode to meet if I can find something that will piece of work.  Below is a screen shot of the Chore Manager with the Nvidia control panel open and the offending window.

 can't open up the Nvidia Control Panel in safe mode.  I even tried opening it correct from the program itself and no get.  Any other suggestions? Am I missing something hither?

I am having the same problem... Windows 7 reload before long  because 10 is pure garbage.
